Eisenberg will be participating in a staff development day on November 24th. Staff will be sharing PLC goals and acheivements with one another. We will celebrate student improvement and progress. Friday, October 22, 2010 we will be having Reading Curriculum Day. We would love to see you join us as we celebrate reading and enjoy fun activites all day long. A reading parent meeting will be held first thing in the moring from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the library. After that, spend some time in your child’s classroom completing fun and exciting activities connected to reading. We hope to see you there!

Our 2nd Parent Reading Workshop will be held at Eisenberg on October 28, 2010 form 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. The workshop’s focus is on phonics and fluency. It being offered to parents who have children in grades 1-3. Come out and learn ways to help your child become a better reader:). A huge thanks goes out to all of the parents and students who made it out for Family Reading Night last night.  It was a successful night because of your participation. Looking forward to Reading Curriculum Day October 22! We hope you can join us.

Just a reminder that Family Reading Night will be held Thursday October 7, 2010. A Title I informational session will be held from 6:00-6:30 in the auditorium for all parents. Classroom sessions will be held from 6:30-7:30. In the classroom session, teachers will be modeling good reading strategies you can use at home with your child. You and your child will walk away with fun & exciting materials to use at home. We hope to see you there:).

In just a few short weeks students will be returning to Eisenberg Elementary School refreshed and ready to learn.  The students first day of school is August 18th.  The school day begins at 8:20 a.m. and dismissal is at 3:14 p.m.   The staff is looking forward to seeing everyone.
